Registered Office: The Bungalow, Ingatestone Road, Highwood, Essex, CM1 3QY. Our VAT registration no is 810 4712 68, our data protection registration number Z7953106.
Your access to and use of 4selfpublishing ("the Website") is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.

2 CHANGES TO WEBSITE
4selfpublishing reserves the right to:
2.1 change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that 4selfpublishing shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and
2.2 change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.
3 COPYRIGHT AND ACCEPTABLE CONTENT
3.1 All copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in the Website and its content (including without limitation the Website design, text, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the Website) are owned by or licensed to 4selfpublishing or otherwise used by 4selfpublishing as permitted by law.
3.2 In accessing the Website you agree that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the Website for personal, non-commercial home use only.
3.3 All trademarks and copyrights within 4selfpublishing belong to their respective owners.
3.4 As the copyright holder of your book, you are solely responsible for its contents. 4edge Ltd is not liable to any third party for any writer's work, regardless of whether 4edge Ltd had knowledge or could reasonably be supposed to have of any illegal, unlawful or objectionable content in the work. You will not use the 4selfpublishing service to produce, nor will you upload onto our servers, any material that is:
Defamatory, menacing or offensive, abusive, or in breach of copyright, confidence, privacy or any other rights.
Infringing any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy.
In breach of any applicable law or regulation.
Obscene, indecent, does damage to minors or contains child pornography.
Creates any liability for us or causes us to lose in whole or in part the services of our ISPs or other suppliers.
Linked directly or indirectly to or includes descriptions of goods or services that are prohibited under this Agreement.
Causing our website to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or such that the effectiveness or functionality of our website is in any way impaired.
3.5 You will always retain all rights to your books.
3.6 4edge Ltd will retain ownership of any and all digital files created by us during the design and manufacture of your book, such as, but not restricted to, image and pdf files.
5. ABUSE OF SERVICE POLICY
5.1 4selfpublishing is not a publisher. We provide you with the tools to produce your own content for self publishing. For this reason 4selfpublishing does not review the work you produce. By using 4selfpublishing you agree to abide by this agreement in terms of the type of content you can produce. We explicitly state that you cannot publish material that contravenes any of the points listed in this agreement. You alone are responsible for the content of your messages and the consequences of any such messages. 4selfpublishing reserve the right to:
Delete any offensive material without compensating you for any payments made to 4selfpublishing in the creation of said material.
Where appropriate, we will not hesitate to pass extreme content and author’s details to the relevant authorities.
6 THE PRODUCTION PROCESS
6.1 The production process will be conducted in accordance to the explicit instructions set out on 4selfpublishing.
6.2 All images that are displayed on the 4selfpublishing web site are an approximation of the final product. Colours shown on your computer screen may vary from the colours of the printed book.
7 THE SALES PROCESS
7.1 Conditions
7.1.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect your Buyer’s statutory rights as a consumer.
7.1.2 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale between you and 4selfpublishing and shall prevail over any other documentation or communication.
7.1.3 Any variation to these Terms and Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by 4selfpublishing.
7.2 Ordering
7.2.1 All orders for Goods (by which is meant products purchased from 4selfpublishing including completed books) shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by 4selfpublishing. 4selfpublishing may choose not to accept an order for any reason.
7.3 Price and payment
7.3.1 Only once your book is ready to be printed and despatched will you be asked to place an order to purchase.
7.3.2 After the order is received, 4selfpublishing shall confirm by email the details, description and price for the books. This email will act as a receipt for the purchase of goods.
7.3.3 Payment of the Price plus VAT and delivery charges must be made in full before dispatch of any Goods purchased.
7.3.4 We are a British company. As a result all prices on the 4selfpublishing site are quoted in Pound Sterling.
7.4 4selfpublishing’s rights
7.4.1 4selfpublishing reserve the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the Website at its discretion.
7.4.2 4selfpublishing reserve the right to withdraw any services from the Website at any time.
7.4.3 4selfpublishing shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any services from the Website or for refusing to process an order.
7.5 Warranty
7.5.1 4selfpublishing warrants that the Goods will at the time of dispatch correspond to the description given by 4selfpublishing. Except where you dealing as a Consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or condition of the Goods, whether implied by Statute, common law or otherwise are excluded, and you are satisfied as to the suitability of the Goods for your purpose.
7.6 Creation and delivery
7.6.1 Manuscripts supplied by you will normally be created within 10 working days of receipt of order. You will be informed by email when your book is ready to be printed.
7.6.2 Goods supplied within the UK will normally be delivered within 10 working days of receipt of payment.
7.6.3 Goods supplied outside the UK will normally take longer to be delivered and you will be informed by 4selfpublishing of the duration upon despatch.
7.6.4 Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, you will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date.
7.6.5 4selfpublishing shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. In any event time of delivery shall not be of the essence and 4selfpublishing shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by you or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
7.6.6 Delivery of any Goods purchased shall be made to the address specified in the order and you shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
7.6.7 Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery of the Goods.
7.7 Cancellation and returns
7.7.1 Due to the personalised nature of the Goods that 4selfpublishing provides, which are created to an individual members particular specifications, there is no right of refund or cancellation after the Goods have been purchased by you in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
7.7.2 If you have clicked on a product and decide to cancel your order, it is possible if you have not already clicked on payment. Cancellation is not possible once your order is being processed by our fully automated systems. If you receive a book that is damaged in some way, we will, of course, be happy to provide a replacement copy.
7.8 Limitation of liability
7.8.1 Except as may be implied by law where you are dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by 4selfpublishing the remedies of your concerns shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the Price of the Goods and 4selfpublishing shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever.
7.9 Waiver
7.9.1 No waiver by 4selfpublishing (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its rights to do so in the future
7.10 Forcemajeure
7.10.1 4selfpublishing shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and 4selfpublishing shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
8 TERMINATION
8.1 4selfpublishing reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to immediately, without notice to suspend or terminate i) these terms and conditions; ii) any other service provided to you by 4selfpublishing upon any breach by you of these terms and conditions.
9 LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
9.1 The Website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other Websites is not an endorsement of such Websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.
10 DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 The Website is provided on an “as is” basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringment, compatibility, security and accuracy
10.2 To the extent permitted by law, 4selfpublishing will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatever (including without limitation loss of business, opportunity, data, profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website.
10.3 4selfpublishing makes no warranty that the functionality of the Website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.
11 INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold 4selfpublishing and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against 4selfpublishing arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website or the content of your book or publication.
12 ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and 4selfpublishing concerning its subject matter.
13 RESALE OF SERVICE
13.1 You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the service, use of the service, or access to the service unless having been licensed to do so by 4edge Ltd.
14 SEVERANCE
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

17 GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
